The multi-talented group of six musicians performs the hauntingly expressive melodies, irregular rhythms, and fiery dance tempos of their native Thrace, in southern Bulgaria on traditional instruments: kaval (folk flute), gaida (bagpipe), tambura (guitar), tapan (large drum) and accordion. Their vocalist Donka Koleva was the featured singer in the film "Everything is Illuminated".
